Eva LoVullo is a performer (singer, guitarist, and cellist), bandleader, and songwriter living in New Orleans, LA. She grew up with a musician father and a visual artist mother in a flurry of late-night cajun jams, orchestra competitions, and hurricane evacuations. She specializes in detailing the cold solitude of memories longed for as present realities and a yearning for solid ground. She navigates loss, grief, displacement, and growing up with dark humor and raw vulnerability. Eva’s music is deeply informed by her southern roots, with country influences like Lucinda Williams. Her current sound is most reminiscent of the emo-folk, indie pop queens Phoebe Bridgers and Julia Jacklin. She has played alongside Waxahatchee and Angel Olsen, and has just released a new EP, tried to be everything.
